North Yorkshire Moors Railway

 Goathlands Station 'celebrity' station, Goathland is also known as Aidensfield in YTV's Heartbeat and as the bewitching Hogsmeade in the first Harry Potter Film. The Station is just a few miniutes walk from Mulgrave Cottage, past the Aidensfield Arms and Scripps Garage and you will come across Goathlands Station.  enjoy a cup of tea in the 1922 style tea room, Ideal location for all train enthusiasts and a great place to take photographs.

Day rover tickets can be puchased so you can go and visit other stations up and down the line or so you can go and visit other great villages while staying at Mulgrave Cottage places like, PICKERING, LEVISHAM, GROSMONT and WHITBY.

Goathland Station

Steam trains run by the North Yorkshire Moors Railway operate from Goathland to Pickering and Grosmont, with regular services running through to Whitby during the main season.

      

                                                     

Pullman Diner Service

 

Celebrate in style aboard the magnificent Pullman dining service. Magical setting for anniversaries or special occasions, with our period carriages, splendid seating and lavish decoration. Serving hearty meals prepared by our on-board chef, sit back and relax, it’s time for a taste of indulgence in an elegant setting.

The Pullman train is also available for hire, so if you have a private or corporate event and would like to impress, just let them  know what kind of reception or event you have in mind, and they will tailor a service to suit  you.

Tea Rooms

Tearooms can be found on Pickering, Grosmont and Goathland stations. At Levisham, you’ll find refreshments served during the main season from both the Weighbridge, by the station car park, as well as from the Tea Hut by the paddock area.
